Training Introduction
Training is a very big component of what we do. In order to ensure we do our best to help you succeed, we created a training program in mind.
The training consists of blocks of 4-hour courses each - and each course is designed to provide practical training on a specific subject area.
Courses are taught by functional area experts, and are designed to help you secure the minimum skills necessary to complete the presentation template, and to help you feel more confident about the technical areas of your project, so when you are presenting to an angel investor - or any potential investor - you can field the questions with confidence.
Courses are taught online in English, Portuguese, and in Spanish - we do our best to deliver the training in the language you are most comfortable with.

Course Offerings
Project Basics
These are basic project management and functional area courses - designed to help you collect the information, craft a coherent message, and put it in presentation format.
Template Building
In this course, we will work together to create a template for your presentation. This is a step-by-step process where the instructor helps students complete the project template, thus making it ready for presentation.
Innovation Management
In this course , we learn what is innovation, and go over the basics of innovation management.
Finance
In this course , the instructor works with you to prepare sales forecasts using Excel or Google Spreadsheets. This is the basic sales projection course - this is to generate your sales projections.
Human Resources
In this course, the instructor works with you to build a winning team. It covers the basics of Human Resources to help innovators build their dream teams.
Business Entity Formation 101
In this course, the instructor explains the basics of company formations in the USA. How should you incorporate it? Is an LLC right for you? These and other corporation formation questions will be answered.
Business Process 101
In this course, the instructor explains the basics of business processes. What are they, and how to use tried and true business processes to better organize your activities.
Country-Specific
In this course, the instructor focuses on the specifics of a given geography. For example, Brazil launched a new VC regulation called Marco Legal das Startup (MLS) - if your project is in Brazil, therefore you need to not only understand MLS but ensure your project is fully compliant.
Entrepreneurial Skills
These courses cover a variety of entrepreneurial skills/skillsets designed to assist you in the delivery of the message you created and help you successfully deliver it to any audience.
Presenting for Action
In this course, the instructor will help you create presentations designed to deliver the information you need to convey to investors. In this course - Planning in a box - the instructor will help you understand the basic elements, and requirements to ensure your planning is successful.
Futures Methods
In this course, the instructor will introduce you to a few different methods designed to uncover risks & opportunities. We will use Story Telling, develop our own scenarios, and learn how Futures Wheels will help you answer challenging strategy questions. It is important to show investors preparation, even more so when you can explain how your strategy would work when the corporate environment was not as planned.
Financial Planning
In this course, the instructor will help you analyze your receivables, mount a forecast, and use actual versus planned to design financial strategies that will ensure the long-run survival of your venture.
